I've just found an on-line list of screenwriting books I thought I'd share:

Anyone interested in my personal recommendations?
Writing Screenplays That Sell by Michael Hauge is an excellent primer.
Naturally Story: A Guide to Screenwriting by Robert McKee which I now see in bookshops everywhere. Is everyone now reading this?
I'd hotly recommend Alternative Scriptwriting: Writing Beyond the Rules by Ken Dancyger. Just bought it again to read the extra chapters in the second edition - that's how highly I rate it.
Also recently bought The Writer's Journey: Mythic Structure for Writers by Christopher Vogler, which I keep hearing about and is a lot more interesting than I'd expected.
And am about to buy Screenwriting Updated: New (and Conventional) Ways of Writing for the Screen by Linda Aronson, which deals with multiple stranded and non-linear scripts.
Happy reading!
